Happy Friday! We've all had a long week, so I'm going to tell you where to go today for your extra-long coffee break! But I'm warning you, although it can get a little crowded at Whynot Coffee & Wine, if you can grab a seat you'll be tempted to stay there for hours. Their laid-back vibe and free wi-fi pretty much ensures that it's packed all day with locals on laptops and others enjoying quiet conversation. The café has a European feel, with vintage furnishings, French music playing on an old Victrola and paintings of French icons on the wall. There's plenty of lovely natural light, with a wall of windows that opens onto the street. Oh, and of course, they brew Blue Bottle coffee (I hear it's a thing) and serve pastries and wine.
I have to say, I quite enjoyed my latte as well as their outdoor bench seating, which wraps around the building and is great for people watching.
